What we're building.
Journey Patient Care is built by one person, in the open, and it keeps getting better because caregivers keep telling me what's missing. This is where it's headed. It's a plan, not a promise on dates, and it changes as I learn what actually helps.
The iPhone version just landed, so the app now runs on both iPhone and Android.
What I'm working on right now.
- Speed and reliability
- Quiet work under the hood so the app stays fast and steady on more phones, including older ones. Boring, and worth it.
- iPhone and Android in step
- Now that both versions are out, keeping them matched feature for feature, so nothing you rely on depends on which phone you carry.
- Family sharing
- A way to give family a snapshot of how your loved one is doing, without handing them the whole record. It's the hardest thing on this list, because the app's whole promise is that nothing lives on a server and nothing leaves your phone without you. I'd rather take the time to get that right than ship something that quietly breaks it.

Next in line, roughly in the order I expect to get to them. Everything here stays on your device. Nothing on this list ships your record to a server.
- Reports your doctor can use
- More ways to print or hand off a clean summary a doctor, hospital, or visiting nurse can actually use.
- A printable emergency card
- A version of the emergency screen sized for a wallet, so the essentials exist on paper too, for the moments a phone isn't in reach.
- More condition templates
- Starter setups for more conditions, so getting going is a few taps instead of a blank page.
- Faster logging
- Fewer taps to record a dose, a symptom, or a call, for the days you're doing this on the move.
